Trams and buses

The CTP Iași network — 9 tram lines and over 40 bus lines. What a ticket costs, how to pay, and how the network is built.

How to pay

  • Tap a contactless bank card or your phone straight on the onboard validator — the simplest option for visitors, no app and no account needed.
  • Or use the 24pay app, or CTP's own IA'SI BILET app, to buy tickets and passes from your phone.
  • Or buy a contactless CTP travel card and top it up at CTP points, E-Pin machines or online, then validate onboard.
  • Validate every single journey. Travelling without a valid ticket costs a 99 lei fine.
