How to pay
Unlike Bucharest, Iași does not split parking between districts with different operators. There is one municipal system and several apps that all feed into it — pick whichever you already have installed, or pay by SMS.
Worth knowing
- Sunday is free everywhere, and so is every evening after 20:00 — the paid window is Monday to Saturday, 08:00–20:00.
- The central zone is the expensive one. Leave the car a tram stop or two out and ride in — a CTP ticket costs 4 lei and is valid two hours.
- Malls and large shopping centres run their own car parks with their own rules — those are not part of the municipal tariff.

How do I pay for parking in Iași?
By SMS or through one of the apps the city accepts: TPARK, 24pay, UPPARK or Am Parcat. All of them show the price before you confirm, so you need neither cash nor a paper ticket.
How much is it and when do you pay?
In the central zone (Zona 1) the rate is 7 lei per hour, with passes at 63 lei a week or 198 lei a month. Public parking is charged Monday to Saturday, 08:00–20:00; outside those hours it is free.
